Manual sends are best for one-off correspondence with specific invitees. They are also an excellent way of previewing the registration process in its entirety. Manually sending is not an option if your event is in Pending status or the Archive date has passed.
 
NOTE: These instructions are for Express Registration. If you're creating a Flex event, reference this article instead.

1 Access your event emails. Begin by selecting your event. Click Promotion & Communication from the navigation bar.

Click the name of the email.
The Details tab opens by default. Click the rightmost tab, Preview, to verify the content is ready to send. Once it looks good, hover over Send and click Manually.

2 Individually select the recipients. Type a registrant's name into the search bar or select who will receive this email by checking the box next to their name.

Or search for specific criteria. To the right of the search bar, click Advanced Search. Don't want to spam people? Switch "Only include invitees who have not received this email in the last 6 months" to Yes. Fill in any other criteria, such as company, email address, registration type, invitee status, participant status, or contact group.

Add Advanced filters to further define your search. If you use more than one filter,
switch between And or Or to determine whether this question will display when all criteria is met or only a single condition applies.
 
When you're ready, click Search. Select who will receive this email by checking the box next to their name. Select all by checking the top left box.
 
3 Send the email. Click Send Email. A confirmation screen will appear, listing the subject, the sender, and the number of recipients.

Verify this information, then click Confirm.

Confirm your emails were delivered by running the Email Rates by Email Report. For those messages that never made it, try these troubleshooting solutions.
