Manual sends are best for one-off correspondence with specific invitees. They are also an excellent way of previewing the registration process in its entirety. Manually sending is not an option if your event is in Pending status or the Archive date has passed.

NOTE: Manually sending an email created for one of these audiences will not automatically filter the correct recipient list. You'll need to manually narrow down your invitees or schedule the email instead.

1 Access the event emails. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, select Event Emails.

If your event has multiple invitation lists, select one from the dropdown at the top. Want to email invitees based on their status, not their invitation list? Try this option instead.

Click the name of the email. The Details tab opens by default. Click the rightmost tab, Preview, to verify the content is ready to send. Once it looks good, hover over Send and click Manually.

2 Individually select the recipients. Type a registrant's name into the search bar or select who will receive this email by checking the box next to their name.

NOTE: This search will only return members of the currently selected invitation list. If the person you're trying to email isn't appearing, you will need to add them.

Or search for specific criteria. To the right of the search bar, click Advanced Search. Don't want to spam people? Switch "Only include invitees who have not received this email in the last 6 months" to Yes. Fill in any other criteria, such as company, email address, registration type, invitee status, participant status, or contact group.

Add Advanced filters to further define your search. If you use more than one filter,
switch between And or Or to determine whether this question will display when all criteria is met or only a single condition applies. In the example below, only members with a full conference pass will be returned in your search.

NOTE: Filtering by registration type and registration path? Ensure the type is associated to the path if you're combining filters. Otherwise, click Or to search for one or the other.

When you're ready, click Search. Select who will receive this email by checking the box next to their name. Select all by checking the top left box.

NOTE: This search will only return members of the currently selected invitation list. If the person you're trying to email isn't appearing, you will need to add them.

3 Send the email. Click Send Email. A confirmation screen will appear, listing the subject, the sender, and the number of recipients.

Verify this information, then click Confirm.
