Quickly link to files in your document library anywhere you can access the HTML Editor in Classic events, Inquisium, and eMarketing or the Site Designer in Flex events.

In Classic Events, Classic Surveys, or eMarketing

1 Access the HTML Editor. The HTML Editor can be accessed throughout the application by clicking Edit Section or the HTML button. It's also built into various pages related to editing emails.

2 Link to your file. Within the HTML Editor, click the Insert tab, then User-added image in the Links section. Your Document Library will open. Double-click the folder, then the document to add a link.

NOTE: To add a document to your library from here, click Upload if you're in an event or open a folder and click Add File if you're anywhere else. Don't see either option? Ask your administrator to give you full access to Library Management in Admin > Users > Manage > User Roles.

If you'd prefer the link text to be something other than the document name, right click the link, select Properties, make the necessary changes in the Link Text field, and click OK.

Click Okay or Save. If the HTML Editor appeared in a separate window, be sure to save on the original page as well.

In Flex Events or New Surveys

1 Copy the reference link. Double-click a file you uploaded to the document library, scroll down, and copy the URL in the Reference Link field. Save it on your computer.

2 Access the page in your event you want to add it to. Go back to your event. Access the Site Designer. Click the Website Page or Registration Page dropdown in the top left and select the page where you want to add the link.

Or access the survey you want to add it to. Go back to your Surveys (New) survey. Access the Survey Designer. If necessary, hover over the dropdown in the top left of the canvas, and select the Pre-Survey Pages or survey you want to add the link to.

3 Add a link. Drag a text widget onto the canvas. Type out the link text, then highlight the text and click User-added imagePaste your document’s reference link in the URL field.
