Add links to the text and images in your website and emails so users can quickly reference other relevant websites or email the appropriate people.
 
NOTE: These instructions are for for Classic events and surveys. Reference these articles instead if you're create an Flex event, Express event, or new survey.
 
In Surveys (Classic), Classic Event, and Emarketing

1 Open the HTML Editor. The HTML Editor can be accessed throughout the application by clicking Edit Section or the HTML button. It's also built into various pages related to editing emails.

2 Launch the Hyperlink Manager. Select the Insert tab. Highlight the text you want to hyperlink or click on your image, then click Hyperlink Manager.

A pop-up opens.

3 Link to a webpage. Enter the web address for your hyperlink in the URL field (skip down if you want to add an email address). You can edit the text you highlighted or add new text for the hyperlink in the Link Text box. Select New Window from the Target dropdown to open the link in a new browser window.

NOTE: Text you enter in the Tooltip field appears when someone hovers over the hyperlink.

Once you're done, click OK or Save. If the HTML Editor appeared in a separate window, be sure to save on the original page as well.

Or link to an email address. When you click a hyperlink for an email address, a new email is automatically created with the To and Subject fields already filled out. To specify what should be in these fields, click the rightmost tab, E-mail. Enter the email in the Address field. You can edit the text you highlighted or add new text for the hyperlink in the Link Text box.

If you want to save your invitees a few minutes, add a default subject line for the email in the Subject box.

In Surveys (New) - New

1 Access the Survey Designer. Begin by selecting your survey. Hover over Design and, under Customize, click Survey Pages.

2Add the link. If necessary, in the top left of the canvas, click the dropdown, and in the Surveys section, select the survey you want to add your questions to. Click the widget, then in the Text fields, click the User-added image icon.
 
You can modify the text that displays, the link URL, and whether it opens in the current tab or in another.

Click Apply. Once you're done, click Save to preserve the draft, or click Publish to make it visible to respondents.
