Banners are images, often used to promote sponsors or activities, that cycle across the top of your event every three to fifteen seconds. Two versions of the image are recommended—one for phones (640 x 150 pixels) and one for tablets and the Online Event Guide (552 x 150 pixels).

NOTE: A banner must be in one of the following formats: PNG, JPEG, or GIF. If the GIF is animated, only attendees using an Android device or the Online Event Guide will see the animations.

Creating Banners

1 Navigate to the Banners section. After you have logged in to the EventCenter, click your event's name. In the Event Checklist, click Banners under Design.

2 Create a banner. Click New Banner.

Name your banner for your reference, then click Choose File to locate the files on your computer or network.
NOTE: Avoid transparent backgrounds. They will make the whole image appear black in the app.

In the Banner Link section, associate the banner to existing in-app content or link to an external URL. In the example below, an attendee will be brought to an info page about the event upon clicking the image.

Set how long the banner should display before rotating to another one in the Banner Duration section.
NOTE: Banners appear in a randomly-generated order. There is no way to set the order.

Want only certain attendees to see the banner? You can apply a group to limit the banner visibility.

Click Create Banner. Repeat as necessary, but avoid adding more than eight banners. Too many will depreciate your sponsors' investment, and overwhelm attendees.

Updating Banners

1 Navigate to the Banners section. After you have logged in to the EventCenter, click your event's name. In the Event Checklist, click Banners under Design.

2 Edit an existing banner. To modify a banner, click the pencil icon to the right of the name.

Edit Banner

Once you're finished, click Update Banner at the bottom of the page.

Or delete a banner. Click the trash can icon to the right of the name, then click OK to confirm. Keep in mind, this action cannot be undone.
