Let's face it. There's a lot of noise out there. Asking people to juggle their social media and your app on top of that is a surefire way to distract the very audience you're attempting to engage. But have no fear. The Activity Feed is only a tap away. A hub for the content that matters to both you and them (from in-app to SocialWall posts), your attendees will always have a quick way to navigate all the buzz you’re generating.

1 Access the Settings page. After you have logged in to the EventCenter, click your event's name. Click Event Settings in the side nav, then Social Sharing.
   
2 Choose how attendees can share. The Activity Feed includes two sections, the Event Feed and SocialWall. First you'll select your Event Feed settings. Your choices include:
  • Full Sharing - Allows attendees to post on the Event Feed by tapping Post, and share externally to their email or any social platforms downloaded on their device by tapping the three dots in the bottom corner of their post and selecting Share to SocialThey will also be able to send anyone a link to a particular session, speaker, or organization page via email or social media.
  • In-App Sharing Only - Allows attendees to post on the Event Feed, but removes the options to share externally to social platforms. They will also be unable to send anyone a link to a particular session, speaker, or organization page via email or social media.
  • No Sharing - Prevents attendees from having any fun and removes the Activity Feed icon altogether along with the ability to take pictures via the app. Ideal for the closed-door shindig.
 
In the Activity Feed Settings section, you can require attendees to log in before they can see posts. Want attendees to be able to interact with each other's posts? Make sure the "Enable Commenting" box is checked. Keep in mind that attendees must be logged in and visible on the attendee list in order to create or comment on posts.

In the Hashtags field, enter any hashtags that should appear by default when sharing.
NOTE: Any posts you've made while testing the app will be automatically deleted from the Event Feed when you publish your event. Once your event is live, you can remove inappropriate posts, if necessary.

3 Create your SocialWall gallery, if necessary. If you have already created a SocialWall gallery, it will be shown in the SocialWall tab of the Activity Feed by default. Click Update Event to save your settings.

If you aren't sure, click Edit SocialWall in the SocialWall Settings section. The SocialWall page will open in a new tab. Check for an existing gallery, or create one now if your list is blank. Once you're done, return to the EventCenter browser tab and click Update Event.
NOTE: If you created multiple galleries with Premium, click Social Sharing in the side nav to return to the same page. In the SocialWall Settings section, a new SocialWall Gallery dropdown will now be visible. Choose which gallery you want to display in the app, then click Update Event once more to save your changes.
