Logging In to Your CrowdCompass App

Make sure your attendees are experiencing the full might of your mobile apps by having them log in to your CrowdCompass app. Once that power’s in their hand, they can access the same schedules, bookmarks, reminders, notes, and contacts on their phone, tablet, and desktop.

Not convinced of the awesome? Below is a list of things you can't do without logging in:
  • Take notes
  • Share photos
  • Rate sessions
  • Join the attendee list
  • Access locked content
  • Check-in
  • Share contacts
  • Share over social media
  • Message Fellow Attendees
 

Logging In From Your Invitation

1 Download the app. On the device you're bringing to the event, open the invitation in your inbox and tap Download the App.

2 Verify your account. After you've downloaded the app, return to the invitation and tap Verify Account.

3 Open the app. Tap Open App. You'll be taken to the Event Guide with all those delicious features unlocked.

 

Signing Up From the App

1 Access the Sign In page. If your event is using the Navigation Icon or Activity Feed home screen, tap the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner to open the side nav, then Log in for more features.

If your event is using the Dynamic Event Guide, tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen, then Log in.

2 Enter your info. You'll be prompted to enter your first and last name. Tap Next. If your name is not found on the Invited Attendees list, you'll also be prompted to enter your email. Tap Next once more.

3 Verify your account. Depending on the event's configuration, you'll either receive an email and text message containing your verification code or just an email. Read it, then return to the app, enter the code and tap Verify.
 
NOTE: Use it or lose it. Verification codes expire within 24 hours based on the timeframe set in Event Settings and can only be used once. If you're logging in on multiple devices, you'll receive a new verification code for each.

You'll be taken back to the Event Guide with all those delicious features unlocked. If an attendee is having trouble logging in, try these troubleshooting solutions.
 
NOTE: If your event is set to Invite Only and an attendee who is not on the Invited Attendee list tries to login, all CrowdCompass admins with access to the event will receive an email notification. Learn how to add the attendee to the list in this article.
