The following items were released in the second quarter of 2018 and can be found in our products today.
Event Management

Added new Admin features: The GDS Integration, currencies, and translated Meetings Management data tags are now available to the New Admin framework.

Enhanced new reporting:
You can now click on a data grouping to create a new grouping and data set. Widgets without data will now clearly indicate that there is no data to display. Sessions, optional items, tracks, admission items, and hotels have been broken out into different categories, making it easier to get specific data. Finally we added a number of event and cross-event reports.
 
Created personalized registration links for Marketo Custom Identity Confirmation: You can now send personalized registration links using invitation emails created in Marketo. You'll be able to identify contacts, assign registration types, and pre-populate contact info for your Marketo leads, even if they do not exist within your Cvent Address Book.

Added ability to lock your event's budget: You can now prevent budget updates by automatically locking your budget at a certain point.


Expanded Flex Event features: You can now use registration pre-requisites, multiple registration paths, add an event waitlist, highlight speakers, and create session advanced rules. You'll also be able to add terms and conditions and event vouchers to your website. The option to export and import your text from the Language Management page. You can now collect hotel requests during registration, though you will not be able to associate rooms to a specific registration type or path or allow roommates, and your invitees will not be able to modify their request.

Added Marketo manual sync: You can now manually sync without relying on automatic triggers. You can create and update leads and custom objects for events and invitees, troubleshoot or test the integration, sync past event data, limit the number of API calls made. Manual sync is independent of integration points and all multi-match settings and triggered actions.

Enhanced your Inquisium survey reports: You can now export response data in SPSS format for the Answer Details by Respondent report. Answer Summary, Answer Summary with Trends, and Session Rating Summary can now be downloaded in PDF format. The Survey Metrics report has been added and allows you to review response rates and durations, skipped questions, and which questions may have made your respondents abandon your survey.

Added cookie banner and ability to request consent for GDPR compliance: You can now display a banner informing respondents that the survey page uses cookies, and add consent questions to your survey.
 

Abstract Management


Expanded options for authors and co-authors: You can now submit your author's submission for them, and limit how many co-authors can be added to a submission. A new data tag was created for topics, and you can now hide the opt-out and unsubscribe options within your emails. Your authors can now withdraw their submissions, and will be alerted after 50 minutes of inactivity.

Enhanced contact syncing, and added GDPR compliance: The updates made to your contacts in your project will now sync with your Address Book. A custom link can be added that links to your organization's privacy policy, and a banner will now display informing authors of the info collected using cookies.
 
Added custom emails: You can now create custom emails.
 
Enhanced the Site Designer: You can now fully customize the My Summary and My Reviews pages.

Appointments

Added Appointment Updates triggered by unregistration: Whenever a registrant cancels their registration in a linked Registration event, all of their appointments are now automatically cancelled or declined.

Enhanced email templates: Emails are now categorized by recipient (planner, requester, or attendee), and each email's send setting (automatic or manual) and audience are clearly displayed.

Enhanced GDPR compliance: You can now insert a link to your own Privacy Policy within the footer of your attendee websites.

Added usability improvements for attendees: Attendees can now apply a filter to show times when other attendees are available. When scheduling a new appointment, attendees will now always see the first day that has time slots available. We've also standardized colors and styles throughout the attendee website, making it easier to tell when attendees are accepted, pending, or declined.

Added exhibitor profiles and filters: You can now set up exhibitor profiles for attendees to view on the site's Directory page, as well as mark these profile fields as filterable to allow attendees to narrow down the list of exhibitors and find ones that best meet their interests.

Added admission item visibility: If you've linked an Appointment event to an existing Registration event, you can now see each attendee's admission item on the Attendees page, making it easier to assign attendees to groups for scheduling purposes.


Onsite

Added OnArrival Android enhancements: We've added Advanced Printing for OnArrival 360 events, badge printing for Zebra printers, on-demand encoding of RFID badges, and more advanced Kiosk Mode search, guest check-in, and privacy policy settings to OnArrival Android.

Added check-in questions: In a Registration event, you can now configure both custom contact fields and registration questions for attendees to answer during check-in, collecting these answers in either Kiosk Mode or Planner Mode. Attendee responses can be printed on badges and are available in standard reports.

Made a number of updates for GDPR: You can now provide a link to your privacy policy for attendees to read during check-in on OnArrival Kiosk Mode, or for exhibitors to read on the home page of the Exhibitor Portal. You can also turn on a dismissible banner in the Exhbitor Portal that explains why cookies are used, and to ask administrators to acknowledge and agree to the use of them.


CrowdCompass

Included session rules with integration: If you’ve integrated with Event Management, any session rules you set up there now apply when attendees sign up for sessions in the app.

Simplified in-app messaging: Attendees can now message each other directly from the Event Feed.

Made password visible when entering: When creating a new password for your EventCenter account, you can check a box that allows you to see the password you just typed instead of obscure dots.

Added alert about Cvent's cookies and privacy policy: To comply with GDPR, attendees will see a banner alert when visiting the Online Event Guide or the VIP Admin Center that explains why Cvent uses cookies and a link to our privacy policy.


Streamlined social sharing: Attendees can post to the app's Event Feed in one less step. They also have the option to simultaneously post to any social network downloaded on their device. If attendees are using the Online Event Guide, the steps for posting photos and text now match the app. 

Moved the "flag a post" option: The option that allows attendees to flag a post as inappropriate is now in the post's options menu. 

Simplified subsessions: Attendees can only bookmark and add subsessions to their schedule one at a time instead of in bulk. If they add, remove, or bookmark a parent session, subsessions will no longer be affected. The bookmarking rules do not yet apply to iOS devices. 

Supplier Network

Redesigned the Proposal Received email: You will now see a simpler and mobile-friendly email when you receive a proposal, making it easier to find your proposal information and understand the next step in the process.

Updated the DocuSign integration: You can now void a completed contract directly form Cvent, access signed versions of contracts in the Contract Information tab of an awarded RFP, and add new data tags to their DocuSign contract templates when using the integration.

Made a number of updates for GDPR: To comply with GDPR, we added a cookie banner that appears for users in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland as well as new consent checkboxes for CSN guest-side pages that accept personally-identifiable information.

Added OnArrival Android enhancements: We've added Advanced Printing for OnArrival 360 events, badge printing for Zebra printers, on-demand encoding of RFID badges, and more advanced Kiosk Mode search, guest check-in, and privacy policy settings to OnArrival Android.

Added check-in questions: In a Registration event, you can now configure both custom contact fields and registration questions for attendees to answer during check-in, collecting these answers in either Kiosk Mode or Planner Mode. Attendee responses can be printed on badges and are available in standard reports.

Made a number of updates for GDPR: You can now provide a link to your privacy policy for attendees to read during check-in on OnArrival Kiosk Mode, or for exhibitors to read on the home page of the Exhibitor Portal. Streamlined social sharing: Attendees can post to the app's Event Feed in one less step. They also have the option to simultaneously post to any social network downloaded on their device. If attendees are using the Online Event Guide, the steps for posting photos and text now match the app. 

Moved the "flag a post" option: The option that allows attendees to flag a post as inappropriate is now in the post's options menu. 

Simplified subsessions: Attendees can only bookmark and add subsessions to their schedule one at a time instead of in bulk. If they add, remove, or bookmark a parent session, subsessions will no longer be affected. The bookmarking rules do not yet apply to iOS devices. 

Supplier Network

Redesigned the Proposal Received email: You will now see a simpler and mobile-friendly email when you receive a proposal, making it easier to find your proposal information and understand the next step in the process.

Updated the DocuSign integration: You can now void a completed contract directly form Cvent, access signed versions of contracts in the Contract Information tab of an awarded RFP, and add new data tags to their DocuSign contract templates when using the integration.

Made a number of updates for GDPR: To comply with GDPR, we added a cookie banner that appears for users in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland as well as new consent checkboxes for CSN guest-side pages that accept personally-identifiable information.

Event Management

Added new Admin features: The GDS Integration, currencies, and translated Meetings Management data tags are now available to the New Admin framework.

Enhanced new reporting:
You can now click on a data grouping to create a new grouping and data set. Widgets without data will now clearly indicate that there is no data to display. Sessions, optional items, tracks, admission items, and hotels have been broken out into different categories, making it easier to get specific data. Finally we added a number of event and cross-event reports.
 
Created personalized registration links for Marketo Custom Identity Confirmation: You can now send personalized registration links using invitation emails created in Marketo. You'll be able to identify contacts, assign registration types, and pre-populate contact info for your Marketo leads, even if they do not exist within your Cvent Address Book.

Added ability to lock your event's budget: You can now prevent budget updates by automatically locking your budget at a certain point.


Expanded Flex Event features: You can now use registration pre-requisites, multiple registration paths, add an event waitlist, highlight speakers, and create session advanced rules. You'll also be able to add terms and conditions and event vouchers to your website. The option to export and import your text from the Language Management page. You can now collect hotel requests during registration, though you will not be able to associate rooms to a specific registration type or path or allow roommates, and your invitees will not be able to modify their request.

Added options to collect invitee consent: You can now use a consent custom contact field or consent registration question to collect consent from your invitees, and to follow GDPR compliance.
 

Added more languages to your Event account: You can now display your event website, registration pages, and emails in these languagesincluding Finnish, Russian, Swedish, and Turkish. Meeting Request Forms and Meeting Management notifications will also be available in these languages.
 
Enhanced Cvent Payment Services: You can now access your monthly CPS remittance statements within Cvent, which provides a summary of all event and membership transactions process during the previous invoice period.

Added Marketo manual sync: You can now manually sync without relying on automatic triggers. You can create and update leads and custom objects for events and invitees, troubleshoot or test the integration, sync past event data, limit the number of API calls made. Manual sync is independent of integration points and all multi-match settings and triggered actions.

  
Inquisium

 
Enhanced your Inquisium survey reports: You can now export response data in SPSS format for the Answer Details by Respondent report. Answer Summary, Answer Summary with Trends, and Session Rating Summary can now be downloaded in PDF format. The Survey Metrics report has been added and allows you to review response rates and durations, skipped questions, and which questions may have made your respondents abandon your survey.

Added cookie banner and ability to request consent for GDPR compliance: You can now display a banner informing respondents that the survey page uses cookies, and add consent questions to your survey.
 

Abstract Management


Expanded options for authors and co-authors: You can now submit your author's submission for them, and limit how many co-authors can be added to a submission. A new data tag was created for topics, and you can now hide the opt-out and unsubscribe options within your emails. Enhanced contact syncing, and added GDPR compliance: The updates made to your contacts in your project will now sync with your Address Book.
