Integrating Cvent Appointments with CrowdCompass helps your attendees easily manage their meetings on the go, allowing them to view, create, edit, and cancel appointments directly from the app. Here's how to turn it on from your Cvent account.

NOTE: If you're also pulling over data from registration, you must link your Appointments Event with your Registration Event during the Appointment Event creation process. Otherwise, all attendees will be duplicated in the app.

1 Let us know as soon as possible. A back-end configuration must be adjusted by your Cvent team on a per-event basis in order to fully enable the Appointments Integration. In other words, you must contact your Mobile Solutions Specialist or CrowdCompass Support to complete the setup for every event that needs the Appointments Integration activated.

2 Navigate to the Push API Integrations Menu. Log in to Cvent and choose Appointments from the Solutions dropdown at the top of the page. Click on your appointment event's name from the list.

Hover over Event Details and, under General, click Push API Integrations.

Push API Integrations

3 Turn on the CrowdCompass Integration. Click CrowdCompass under Type.
Appointments Push API Integrations

Click Edit in the top right. Switch "Activate CrowdCompass integration for this event" to Yes.

Under CrowdCompass Event Guide, click the "..." button to bring up a pop-up window. Find the CrowdCompass event you want to integrate with by scrolling through the list or searching, then click Select.

Select Event Guide

NOTE: Have two events with the same name? Use the Event OID column to identify the right one. Log in to the EventCenter and select your event. The OID is the group of numbers and letters that appears after "events/" in the URL.

Click Save at the top of the screen when you've finished.

4 Validate and Sync. Click Validate at the top of the screen. You should receive a green confirmation message letting you know that your account has passed validation. Once you've gotten the confirmation, click Sync with CrowdCompass.

Click Confirm. After this initial sync is complete, any updates to the appointments or attendees will now automatically sync.
