Want to see exactly how far your top venue picks are from the airport? Or the highway? Put them on a map. You can map suppliers from your search results or from an RFP.

Mapping Search Results

1 Search for venues. Begin by clicking Find Venues in the upper right. Enter a location and click Find venues.

2 Map the results. Use the map feature in the upper right to see results geographically. You can choose between a small, medium, or full-page view of the map.

Map feature on the Supplier Network search results page.

If you want the search results on the page to automatically update as you move around the map, check the box next to "Search as I move."

On the map, this icon Map center pin appears in the center of the location you searched for. The blue dots Map venue pin indicate venues. Clicking a venue icon on the map opens a popup that displays additional venue details. You can add the venue to your shopping cart by clicking the Cart select venue icon. Map selected venue pin means you added the venue to your list. If you want to focus on another area, click the desired spot on the map, then click Search from this location to drop a Map center pin pin.

Mapping Suppliers from an RFP

1 Map suppliers in the New Sourcing Experience. If you're using the New Sourcing Experience, begin by selecting your RFP on the All RFPs and Bookings page. Under Venue Response, check the boxes next to the venues you want to map, then click View map in the gray banner at the top.

NOTE: Make sure you disable your pop-up blocker

The map will open in a new browser tab and will display the location of the selected venues as numbered pins.

Or map suppliers in the Classic Sourcing Experience. Begin by clicking Manage RFPs in the top navigation. Locate and access your RFP. Under Section Links on the left, click Suppliers & Responses. Check the boxes next to the suppliers you want to include. Hover over the Actions button at the top and select Map Suppliers from the dropdown.

NOTE: You may need to disable your pop-up blocker

Actions dropdown with the Map Suppliers option highlighted.

The map will open in a new browser tab and will display the location of the selected venues as numbered pins.

2 Add points of interest if necessary. You can also add pins to your map to mark local attractions and hot spots. Right-click the desired location to create a new point of interest.

Right-clicking any location on the map will display an Add Point of Interest option that you can select.

Give it a name and add as much extra information as you see fit. You can also add the point of interest to your account so it is visible to other account users who are sourcing venues in the same area. Click Save when you're done.

3 Share your map. When you've finished, you can share your map by copying the URL and sending it to whomever you'd like. Recipients will be able to see all of your potential venues and custom pins, but they will not be able to add their own.
