Running reports is an essential aspect of managing an event or hospitality business effectively. Reports provide valuable insights into the performance of your business, such as attendance rates, revenue generated, and customer satisfaction levels. These insights allow you to make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and strategize for the future. Cvent provides an extensive range of reports to ensure you can obtain the desired data and focus on the metrics that matter to you.

If you saved at least one copy of a report, the Saved Reports tab will open by default. Otherwise, you will be directed to the Report Templates tab where you can see a list of all the reports available for you to run.
| NOTE: For Passkey, the Report Templates tab always opens by default, even if there are saved reports. |
Carefully read the description under each report to help you determine which one best suits your needs.
If there are reports you'll be using frequently, mark them as favorites by clicking the
icon to the left. Then, you can easily locate them by clicking the Favorites filter at the top of the list.
Run the Report
To the right of the report you need, click the
icon to run it, or the
icon to start editing its fields and criteria first. We recommend using the latter to quickly check if the report has the data fields you need rather than wait for the report to run first.
| NOTE: Need to review the report at a later time? Queue it while it loads. |
If you want to see the data in spreadsheet format, you can export it instead.
Filter the Report
Seeing too much data in your report? Add and configure filters to eliminate unnecessary details and focus on the information you need.
Customize the Report Widgets
Cvent reports are made up of one or more customizable widgets that help you visualize, compartmentalize, and manage your data. These include:
Save, Schedule, and Share Your Report
If you've made changes to a report's fields, criteria, filters, and widgets, or you are planning on adding the report to an access portal, you can save a copy. You can also share a saved report with all or selected users within your account.
Need to see how your data changes over time without manually running your report every single day, week, or month? Set up a report schedule.
