NOTE: If you're a North American property, this feature is only available for 2 Diamond listings and above. To display an image, target specific planners, and rank higher in the promotions search results, upgrade to a silver or gold promotion.


1 Access your promotions list. Begin by clicking Venues in the grey navigation bar.

Select a venue or CVB. Under Section Links on the left, click Promotions.

2 Add a promotion. Click Add Promotion.

Name your promotion something that will grab a planner's attention. Select Yes next to Active to display this promotion on your profile. Specify how long it will display by clicking the User-added image icons or typing in the Active Start Date and Active End Date fields.

 

NOTE: You can't delete promotions since this would erase them from your records, but once the Active End Date passes, they are hidden from planners. Need to disable one sooner? Click No next to Active. 

Optionally, choose a Discount Type from the dropdown:
  • Promotional Rates display discounted prices as a range. Enter the minimum and maximum price in the fields that appear and select the currency from the dropdown. Don't include the currency sign. It will be added automatically.
  • Amount appears as a fixed value. This is how much planners will save. Enter the amount in the field that appears and choose a currency from the dropdown.
  • Percentage shows the percentage that will be deducted from the planner's bill. Enter the percentage in the field that appears.

To upload an image, click Add File. When the pop-up appears, click Choose File, locate the image on your computer or network and click Open. Then, click Upload File.
 

NOTE: Images must be at least 1920 by 1080 pixels.


When the image editor pops up, click and drag the cropping box over the area you want to show. To make the cropping box larger, click and drag the corners. This ensures your image is the correct shape for the promotion.

Once you're done, click Save.

Enter a description. If you have terms and conditions, add them in the Additional Information field. Not sure how it all fits together? Refer to the graphic below.

3 Select the eligibility dates. To specify when planners can use this promotion, scroll down to the Eligible Dates section and choose the start and end dates using the User-added image icons or type them in the appropriate fields. To add more eligible date ranges, click Add Dates.

Only want to offer this promotion for a weekend? Uncheck the days for which it does not apply.

4 Attach documents, if necessary. To include a brochure, form, or information sheet with your promotion, scroll down to the Attachments section and click Upload from Computer, then Choose File. Locate the file on your computer or network and click Open.

Once you're done, click Save.

If you haven't selected a discount type in the promotion setup, you will be prompted to do so. Click Add Details to select a discount type or Not Now to save your promotion as is.

5 Change the order your promotions are listed, if necessary. Click the Set Order button.

Enter a number for each promotion in the Order column. The promotions will be listed in descending order from lowest to highest.

Click Save.

Your promotion will be displayed in the Promotions area of your profile and listed in the planner's special promotions search. If a planner claims a promotion and sends you an RFP, you'll see a User-added image gift icon next to it in your Manage RFPs section and an alert reminding you of the details when you create your proposal.
