Guarantee everyone has the means to get to your event and take advantage of your pre-negotiated rates by adding a customizable car request form to the registration process.
 
NOTE: This feature is only available in Classic events.

1 Access the Car Rental page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over the Event Details tab and, under Travel, click Car Rental.

2 Select the fields. Click Edit. Enter the default pick-up and drop-off dates. Specify which fields you want to display to your invitees.

Once you're done, click Save.
 
NOTE: Need to know more? Create questions that will appear right after an invitee enters their car request.

3 Adjust the options for each registration path. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Settings. If applicable, choose a registration path.

The Basic Settings tab opens by default. Click the tab to the right, Travel, then Edit.

Select whether to display hotel, air, and car request forms in list mode or step mode. List mode displays every form on the same page, while step mode gives each its own page.

Scroll to the Car Requests section. Ensure car requests are enabled. Choose whether to allow requests for only invitees or invitees and their guests. Establish if their requests can be modified after they are made. Set a deadline for these modifications by entering a date. Check the final box if you want the request status to appear on the My Travel Itinerary page post-registration.

Click Save.

4 Add custom content. If you feel the default form needs additional details or instructions, you can add content by accessing the registration page.

Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Pages. Select Car Request Form.

Add content by clicking Edit Section. You can edit the header text. To remove the header entirely, select No next to Display Header. Add content in the HTML Editor.

Click OK once you're done. Don't forget to Save on the original page as well. Repeat for other registration paths, if necessary.

5 Send your registrants their info, if necessary. To ensure your registrants are reminded of their ground transportation info after registration, add the {[C-MY CAR]} data tag to their confirmation email.
