Group flights are room blocks in the sky, seats held by the airlines for your clients. Ensure they get filled by adding them to registration. Once selected a group flight operates just like an air actual, appearing on the same pages, reports, and data tags.

In Classic events, this is only an option if your attendees will be registering from their personal computers. Anyone registering in the mobile version will not see this form

In Flex Events

1 Access the Group Flight Setup tab.
Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Event Details and, under Travel, select Air Travel.

The Air Request Setup tab opens by default. Click the rightmost tab, Group Flight Setup.

2 Display group flights to invitees. Click Edit. If you want your invitees to choose their flight during registration, switch "Display group flights to" to Planners and invitees. Then click Save.

3 Add group flights. Click Create Group Flight. Select whether it is an outbound or returning flight. Enter a capacity and price. Ensure the group flight is open for registration.

Click Save. Don't forget to Save on the original page as well.

Click the neighboring tab, Advanced Settings, then Edit. Ensure No is selected for "Use default flight name," then customize the name of the group flight in the Display Name textbox. Have registrants pay for the group flight by switching "Charge registrants for this group flight" to Yes.

NOTE: Want to add a tax to the group flight? Ensure you check the name of your group flight when creating your event's tax.
In the Associated Registration Paths section, check the paths this group flight should appear in.

Click Save.

4 Add the Group Flight widget to registration. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Process. Click Customize to the right of the page you want to add the Group Flight widget to. To the right of the canvas, click Build. In the Travel section, drag and drop Group Flight onto the canvas.

5 Select the fields. To the right of the canvas, customize the header text, passenger details header text, and button text, if desired. Then, in the Display Settings section, determine which fields should be displayed, and if they should be required or not.

Determine whether or not a registrant must arrive or depart in the same city as their outbound flight. If you want to set a deadline for collecting group flights, toggle "Set deadline for selecting new flights" to green, and enter in the deadline. If you want to allow flight modifications, toggle "Allow attendees to modify their selected flights" to green, and, if necessary, set a deadline for edits.

Repeat these steps for each registration path. Once you're done, click Save to preserve your changes and continue working or Publish to make these changes available to invitees.

In Classic Events
