Streamline registration by limiting what registration items are available based on the admission item an invitee selects. This feature is commonly used to ensure those who choose a single day's admission only see sessions occurring on that particular day.
 
NOTE: You can further limit what an invitee can select based on their registration type if you create an Advanced Rule.

1 Access the Advanced Settings within your admission item. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Event Details and, under Agenda Items, click Admission Items.

Click the admission item's name.
 
The Details tab opens by default. Click the Advanced Settings tab on the right.

2 Establish rules for sessions. Click Edit, and scroll down to the Rules for Optional Sessions section. Establish the minimum number of optional sessions an invitee can select, then the maximum. If either option is left blank, that value will not be set. In the example below, invitees can select up to three optional sessions.

Determine whether an optional session will be added to this limit if the invitee is on an optional session's waitlist.

To further narrow down their choices, switch "Limit which sessions are available to invitees" to Yes. Then check the box next to any session you want to appear to those who select this admission item.

NOTE: If you do not want the Item Selection page displaying during registration, you'll still need to limit sessions based on Admission Item. Switch "Limit which sessions are available to invitees" to Yes and then do not select any sessions from the list.

3 Set up rules for items. In the Rules for Optional Items section, switch "Limit which optional items are available to invitees..." to Yes. Then check the box next to any item you want to appear to those who select this admission item.
 
 
Once you're done, click Save. Now when an invitee selects this admission item, only the session and items you've designated will appear.
