When an event-related point of contact isn't readily displayed, your invitees call us. For security reasons, Cvent cannot answer their questions. That makes them unhappy, sometimes unhappy enough to not bother attending, which makes you unhappy, and when you're unhappy, we're unhappy. Use the Contact Us page or widget and make the world a happier place.

In Classic Events

1 Access the Contact Us page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Website, click Event Website.

Click Contact Us.

2 Adjust the page setup options. You can use the textboxes to rename the Page Title (what appears in the link that opens the page on the event website) and Window Title (what appears at the top of your browser when viewing this page). Select Yes next to Activate.

Under the Page Content section, click Edit Details to the right of Contact Information.

Enter or modify the point of contact's details. Select an email address from the dropdown. Not seeing the option you want? Add another account email address in Admin. Use the radio buttons to establish whether or not your point of contact's email address will be displayed.

Click OK.

3 Add custom content, if necessary. Change any of the section headers by clicking the User-added image and typing in the textbox. To remove the header entirely, switch "Display section header" to No. Add your content in the HTML Editor. Once you're done, click OK.

NOTE: The Name, Email Address, Message, and Text Verification fields are always required of invitees and cannot be disabled.

Don't forget to Save.

In Flex Events

1 Access the Contact Us widget. In Flex, the Contact Us page is now a widget, capable of being added to any page you choose. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Website, click Event Website.

Click Open Site Designer, then click + Build to the right of the canvas. Under Buttons & Links, click and drag Contact Planner onto the canvas.

In the Styling and Configuration options to the right, enter the planner's first name, last name, organization, phone number, and select an email address where inquiries will go to. Determine whether or not you want to display the email address in the contact us form.

2 Add additional planner information, if desired. Since the Contact Planner widget only adds a button to your website, give your invitees a little more information about who's planning this event.

Click and drag a text widget onto the canvas above the Contact Us button.

Type out the event planner's information in the Text box to the right of the canvas. The example below incorporates multiple text widgets above the Contact Us button to give more context.

Click Save to save your changes and continue working, or Publish to make it available to invitees.
