An admission item is a ticket to your event. In order to register, every invitee must select one and only one.
 
NOTE: Once an invitee registers for an admission item, it can no longer be deleted. 

1 Access the admission item details. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Event Details, and under Agenda Items, click Admission Items. If this is your first time accessing this page, "Event Registration" will be waiting for you.
 
NOTE: If the link's greyed out and you only need one admission item, don't sweat the small stuff and just add the fee. To change the name or enable multiple admission items, go to Event Details > Event Configuration.

Click Event Registration, then Edit to change this default or create a new one by clicking Create Admission Item.

2 Enter the admission item details. Name the admission item.

Anything you add in the Code field appears in parenthesis after the name. It's also a field you can hide or run reports on.

If you don't plan on adding more admission items, omit the description. When there are no other choices, invitees will be immediately processed under the sole admission item.


In the Availability section, determine which registration types can select what by selecting Yes next to "Limit which registration types can select this item," then check the boxes next to the correct registration types.

In the Status & Capacity section, ensure Yes is selected next to "Open for registration." Before entering anything in the "Automatically closes on" field, make sure you actually want this admission item to become unavailable at the start of the specified date (i.e. 12:00 am).
 
NOTE: If there are no open admission items, invitees cannot register. Make sure if one does close early, another option is available.

Establish a capacity to keep your headcount under control. Once the entered number is reached, no one else will be able to register for this admission item.

Click Finish.

3 Give it a price. If your admission item is free, congratulations! You're done. If not, you still need to add a fee. This can be done on the Fees page (Event Details > Pricing > Fees) or by clicking the Fees tab in the recently added item.
