Memory isn't everyone's forte. There are even people out there who start sentences and forget to. Remind the absent-minded of what they said by including their answers in the emails you send them.

For Flex Event Emails
 
1 Add a code to your question, if necessary. Without a question code, the necessary data tag won't be created. To add one, begin by selecting your Flex event. For questions in the registration process or the regret and cancellation survey, hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Process. Then click Customize to the right of the page that has your questions. For event or session surveys, hover over Website & Registration and, under Surveys, click Event Surveys.
Click the name of the survey with your questions. 
 
Click the question on the canvas, and then, to the right of the canvas, scroll down to the Settings section. Enter your question code.

Click Publish to make it visible to your invitees, then close out of the Site Designer.
 

2 Access the Email Designer. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, click Event Emails. If applicable, choose an invitation list. Select an email. Click Design Email.

3 Insert the data tag. Click Build to the right of the canvas and drag and drop a widget onto the canvas. If the widget you want is already on the canvas, click it. To the right of the canvas in the Text fields, click the User-added image icon. From the dropdown, select Invitee Answers. Then click Invitee Answers.

A Question Code dropdown will appear. Select your question code, then click Apply.
 
 
Once you're done, click Save.
 

For Classic Event Emails
 
1 Add a code to your question, if necessary. Without a question code, the necessary data tag won't be created. To add one, begin by selecting your Classic event. Hover over Website & Registration and, depending on where you asked the question, click Registration Questions, Regret Survey, Cancellation Survey, Feedback Survey, or Internal Information.

Click the User-added image to the right of the question header. When the pop-up opens, enter your code in the Question Code field (marked below)

Click Save.
 
2 Open the appropriate event email. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, click Event Emails. If applicable, choose an invitation list. Select an email. The Details tab will open by default. Click the neighboring tab, Content.

3 Insert the data tag. Click Edit. Then, select the Insert tab. Click User-added image in the Content section. The Data Tag Selection pop-up opens.

Select Invitee from the first dropdown and Information from the second. Scroll down or search for Invitee Answers. Click the arrow to the left. Further specify where the question is located with the additional dropdowns.

Check the box next to the question answer you want to insert.

Click OK, then Save.
