Make an event that’s truly personalized. Simply follow the steps below to upload graphics, change the theme, and adjust colors.
 
NOTE: Need some inspiration? Check out the CrowdCompass Visual Showcase to help get the creative juices flowing, or purchase custom graphics for your event.

1 Navigate to the Design section. After you have logged in to the EventCenter, click your event's name. In the Event Checklist, click Event Icons under Design.

2 Upload your icon and home image. 
Hover over each section to see an example of how your images will appear within the event directory and Online Event Guide.

Choose a section and click Upload. Locate the image on your computer or network, making sure the files are the correct format and size.

 
NOTE: Avoid using a lot of text in your Event Icon. It will be hard to read.

3 Upload your splash screens. Under Design on the left, click Splash Screens.

Choose a device and click Upload. Locate the image on your computer or network, making sure the files are the correct format and size.

Make sure important elements, such as branding assets or sponsor logos, are kept within the required safety margins to ensure they are not cut off on different screen sizes.

Wondering how your graphics look? Use the live preview on the right side of the page to check the safety margins and see how your graphics will appear in the app.
   
4 Upload your banners. Under Design on the left, click Banners.


Follow these instructions to create a banner, link it to content, and set how long it will display.
 
NOTE: Your event must include at least one banner. Though you can upload more than one, if you want them to rotate.

5 Select a theme and icon pack. Under Design on the left, click Theme and Icon Pack

Choose a theme that reflects your brand or the event itself. Make sure your selection will match your event graphics as well.

Don’t forget to scroll down and select an icon pack too.

If you want to give your icons a custom color, select one of the Tinted Icon Packs. Once you’re done, click Save Theming Options.
 
NOTE: Don't see anything that grabs your attention? Not to worry, you can upload your own images when you customize your navigation icons.

6 Select your home page setting. Under Design on the left, click Home Page Settings

Choose from the navigation icon, dynamic event guide, or activity feed home screen options.

Once you're done, click Update Event.

7 Choose the colors and texture. Under Design on the left, click Custom Colors

Select a field, then enter an RGB or Hex value or use the color picker to choose your desired color. You'll see a preview of your design in the app simulator on the right.

Select a texture for your background, if applicable. Once you’re done, click Save Colors.
