Text analysis reports will display the frequency of phrases for up to five open-ended questions, quickly generating a visual to highlight trends in how people are responding.

NOTE: This feature is only available in classic surveys.

1 Set up the analysis settings. Begin by selecting your survey. In the navigation bar, click Legacy Reports. Under Section Links on the left, click Text Analysis.

Click Add Analysis. Name it, then select up to five questions.

Click Save.

2 Establish the output settings. Click Edit, then the neighboring tab, Output Settings. Determine if the number of respondents and skipped questions should display.

For the most accurate depiction, select Include all phrases. If you have a large number of phrases or do not care to display the phrases with the least amount of responses, you can limit them by percentage or number, by selecting the appropriate option.

Select the theme for both the circle and tree visualization.
