For events with 500 attendees or less, OnArrival users with a Premium license can print badges onsite. Follow the steps below at least two months prior to your event.

1 Learn the hardware. Choose a compatible printer. Have the manufacturer walk you through the steps of connecting the printer to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Wi-Fi is recommended, but use a private network or you’ll be competing with every wireless device at the event.

NOTE: If using Bluetooth, make sure your printer is not connected to another mobile device. Bluetooth printers can only be connected to one mobile device at a time.

2 Enter your badge stock. Enter the badge dimensions as a new stock size in Cvent.

3 Create your badges. You'll need to design your badges in Cvent. Don't forget to select the stock size you added, and choose OnArrival Name Badge for the badge type. Make sure whatever you create looks good in black and white, since our compatible printers do not print in color.

4 Configure your settings. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, then Settings.

Choices here can vary based on your printer, but Badge Orientation is typically Portrait and Printing Format is almost always One-Sided. Select a Printer Type.

Be sure to tap Printer. You'll see printers that are on your network or connected to your device through Bluetooth. Tap one to complete the connection.
