For events with 500 attendees or less, OnArrival users with a Premium license can print badges onsite. Follow the steps below at least two months prior to your event.

1 Learn the hardware. Purchase or rent an Event in a Box. Then, set up your iPad, printer, and OnArrival app to use with a purchased or rented Event in a Box.

If connecting through Wifi, use a private network or you’ll be competing with every wireless device at the event.

NOTE: If using Bluetooth, make sure your printer is not connected to another mobile device. Bluetooth printers can only be connected to one mobile device at a time.

2 Enable OnArrival Premium for your event, if necessary. Depending on the terms of your contract, you'll need to enable OnArrival Premium for your event before you can use it.

Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Event Details and, under General, click Event Configuration. Click Edit and, in the Onsite section, check the box next to OnArrival Premium, then click Confirm. When you're done, click Save.

3 Enter your badge stock. Enter the badge dimensions as a new stock size in Cvent.

4 Create your badges. You'll need to design your badges in Cvent. Don't forget to select the stock size you added, and choose OnArrival Name Badge for the badge type. Make sure whatever you create looks good in black and white, since our compatible printers do not print in color.
