% of Clicks - A column in the <Clicks by URL report. This metric gives you the number of times recipients clicked this particular Cvent link, divided by the total clicks for all links in the email (and multiplies it by 100 to get the percentage).

A

Associated Lists - The distribution lists you've added to a campaign.

Average Clicks -
The number of times recipients opened an email and clicked a Cvent link. When a recipient clicks the same link repeatedly, it counts those too. For example, if you sent the Manage Profile Page link to two people, one clicked it 4 times and the other 2, the average clicks per email for this URL would be 3. You can run a click-tracking report retrieve this data.

C

Campaign - A set of emails you're sending to the same audience, such as newsletters, press releases, or product updates. When your emails are part of a campaign, you can manage settings and run reports for all of them at once.

Click-Through Rate - Out of all the emails that were opened, this is the percentage of times at least one Cvent link was clicked (multiple clicks in the same email are not counted). For example, if 100 people opened your email but only 30 clicked the link to the Opt-Out Page, the click-through rate for that URL would be 30%.

Cvent Target - The Cvent page that a link takes you to when clicked. It's usually difficult to determine this just by looking at the random-generated URLs in a click-tracking report.

D

Delivery Rate - The percentage of emails that successfully arrived in recipients' inboxes. Emails that never made it are considered undeliverable. Troubleshoot undelivered emails here

Distribution List -
A group of contacts you plan to send the same emails to, such as members of an association or people interested in your newsletter. Once you create one, you can allow people to subscribe to a distribution list, approve these subscribers before adding them, or make the list private.

M

Members - A contact who belongs to a distribution list. Depending on the list's settings, this person may require your approval before they become members.

Messages Clicked - Designed to answer the question, "How many of my emails sparked the recipient's interest?," this metric tallies the number of emails where a Cvent link was clicked. Even if one recipient clicks 10 links in an email and another clicks only two, each counts as one message clicked. This is a column in several click-tracking reports.

O

Open Rate - The percentage of contacts who opened an email. If you send 100 emails and 28 recipients open them, the open rate would be 28% (which also happens to be the average open rate for emails sent through Cvent). To find the open rate, run the Email Rates by Campaign and Email report and click the name of an email to see the details for each one. Keep in mind, these rates aren't 100% accurate.

Opened - Refers to whether the associated email was clicked and, therefore, likely read. A tiny, transparent, one-pixel image is embedded in outgoing emails from Cvent. When the recipient's email client downloads the image, it's identified as "opened" by our servers. To see who opened your email, run the Email Rates by Campaign and Email report and click the name of an email to see the details for each one.

S

Sent - A column in many click-tracking reports, this refers to how many times a URL was included in an outgoing email, sent either manually or at a scheduled date and time. If you include the link in an email sent to 60 different contacts, the number in the Sent column would be 60.

T

Total Clicks - The number of times a Cvent link was clicked in an email. If a recipient clicks the same link repeatedly, it counts those too. You can run a click-tracking report to retrieve this data.

U

Undeliverable - When an email bounces back, the email status becomes undeliverable and the contact is opted out. Emails can bounce back for a variety of reasons, including a mistyped email address, a full inbox, or an overloaded server. Troubleshoot undelivered emails here.

Undeliverable Rate - The percentage of emails that bounced back. If you sent 100 emails and 10 did not go through, the undeliverable rate would be 10%. Troubleshoot undelivered emails here.

Unique Clicks -
The number of individual recipients who clicked a particular Cvent link in an email. Multiple clicks by the same recipient are not counted. You can run the Clicks by URL report to retrieve this data.

URL - A column in many eMarketing reports, this refers to the Cvent link or Link or URL data tag you've added in an email.

W

Website Pages - Your account comes with three pages you can edit, deactivate, or duplicate: the Sign Up page lets people subscribe to your distribution lists, the Manage Profile page allows these subscribers to update their information and subscriptions later, and the Forwarding Page gives recipients a place to enter a friend's email, automatically updating your Address Book.
