Unlike the feedback survey available on your event site, this customizable mobile questionnaire syncs with your OnArrival check-ins. Attendees will only see the event or session questions applicable to them.
 
NOTE: If you created your event prior to May 1st, 2017, you’ll need to continue using the original feedback survey. Also, this feature is only available in Classic events.

1 Activate the feedback feature. Select your event. Hover over Event Details and, under General, click Event Configuration. Click Edit.

Scroll down and check the box beside "Feedback Surveys" in the Registration Process section. Click Event Feedback (New). Click Save

2 Access the feedback surveys. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Surveys, select Feedback Survey

There are two surveys listed. The Event Feedback survey is what you'll use to ask questions of everyone who registered or attended your event. The Session Feedback survey lets you create questions specific to a session and will only appear to the registrants who signed up or attended them. You can associate this one survey to all your sessions, or create more, specific to each. 

Open a survey by clicking its name. 

3 Determine who can take the survey, and when. The Survey Settings tab opens by default. Click Edit.

Any registrant with the link can take this survey as soon as you launch registration unless you choose another option from the Availability section, including locking it down until the event begins, after it's over, or on the date and time you specify.

You can further limit the audience for session surveys under the Associated Sessions section. Click Only certain sessions and check the box beside the sessions this survey is relevant to.

Click Save. You can add more session surveys by clicking Close, then Create Session Survey
 
NOTE: Session feedback syncs to CrowdCompass.

4 Add questions. Click the leftmost tab, Questions, then click Edit.  

Select a question type. Your options include:
  • Picklists - Registrants choose one of several written options. 
  • Image Picklists - Registrants choose one of several images you've uploaded.
  • Short Text  - Registrants can use up to 140 characters to write a response.
  • Long Text - Registrants can use up to 500 characters to write a response.
  • Date/Time - Registrants choose a specific date and time.
Enter the text, and, if necessary, upload any images.

Don't overlook the options at the side of each question. These vary based on the type of question you're creating.

Click Add Question on the lower left to add another one. Change the order questions appear by dragging and dropping them.

Once you're done, click the X In the top right. 

5 Invite registrants to take the survey. Invitees cannot retake the feedback survey, so ensure that you've added all the questions and content you need to before sending out the email. When you're ready, customize and schedule the Feedback Survey email.

 
NOTE: If using the CrowdCompass integration and Session Feedback is set to Active, it will sync to the relevant session pages in your app.
