Basic OnArrival is included with every Event Management license. Use our mobile check-in app to mark participants onsite in real time.

1 Download the app for iOS devices. On your iOS device, navigate to the Apple App Store. Type in "OnArrival" in the search box. Tap Get to download the app.

Or, download the app for Android devices. On your Android device, navigate to the Google Play Store. Type in "OnArrival" in the search box. Tap Install to download the app.

2 Open the app and login. Click on the icon to open OnArrival, then select Cvent Account. Enter in your Account Name (i.e. your Account Number), username, and password. These are the same credentials you use to log into Cvent. Click Log In.

3 Open your event. All launched events will display on the Event Selection page. Find the event you need to check people in to and tap its name.

4 View your attendee list. Tap View Attendees. You can use the filters at the top of the page to view attendees by check in status, company, or registration type. Or, tap More to filter by registrants with a balance due, or registrants with a specific admission item. Then tap See Results.

Or, sort your attendee list. Tap Sort by in the top-right and select your sorting criteria. Then tap Done.

5 Check attendees into the event. Scroll through the list to find the attendee or use the search bar at the top to search for an attendee's name. Once you've found the attendee you want to check in, tap Check In.

To scan the attendee's badge instead, go back to the Event Overview screen and tap the camera icon. Then scan the badge's QR code using your camera.

Or check attendees into a session. If you have OnArrival Premium, you can also mark participation for individual sessions. From the Event Overview screen, tap Select Session at the top. Tap the session's name to open it, then tap View Attendees.

NOTE: If your screen is purple, you're in Checkout Mode. Head back to the Session Overview screen, click on ... in the top right and toggle Checkout Mode to off.

Scroll through the list to find the attendee or use the search bar at the top to search for an attendee's name. Once you've found the attendee you want to check in, tap Check In.

NOTE: If you plan on sending out the Post Event Feedback Survey, you'll need to check the attendee in to both the session and the event.

6 View the attendee's record. You can also tap on the attendee's name to view their record. This will show the attendee's registration info (check in and registration details, balance due, registration type, admission item, and confirmation number), contact details, answers to registration questions (including answers to internal information questions), agenda (or specific sessions they are registered for), guest and group members, if applicable, and orders and payments (order details, payments, and refunds).

8 View your Event Stats. Navigate back to your event home screen and tap the graph icon in the bottom-right. This will open a dashboard view of various check-in reports, including: Check-ins over time, Overall Stats, Check-ins by Type, and Active Sessions.
