You can use Cvent’s API (short for Application Program Interface) to push and pull data between Cvent and whatever system you use to manage customers, associations, donors, accounting, learning, web conferencing, resources, or marketing automation. This allows you to:

• Have Cvent recognize another business system as the database of record for contact information.
• Keep your database current by updating contact records with information captured during Cvent registration.
• Send financial transaction data to an accounts receivable or accounting system.
• Send event budgeting data to another business system.
• Keep your corporate website up-to-date with all of your latest available events.
• Update your corporate calendars with Cvent events so everyone knows when events are happening.
• Pull registration or attendance data from an external system to maintain a centralized database.
• Pull survey responses from an external system to hidden questions and use them in logic.
• Push survey responses to another external system to keep your database up-to-date.

Ensure you have on staff or can contract, someone who understands this lingo, then, contact your Account Manager to purchase Cvent's API.
