Want to find out how your venues, brands, or regions are performing? The Enterprise reports in Business Intelligence offer you three solutions to help you quickly identify your top and bottom performers across key metrics: Performance by Brand, Performance by Hotel, and Performance by Region.

1 Run the performance report you need. Click Business Intelligence, then Reports.

NOTE: Can't see the Business Intelligence tab? Ask your administrator to assign you a user role that gives you full access to Business Intelligence.

Click the name of the performance report you need, under Enterprise Reports. If you are running the Performance by Region report, make sure you first define the regions you want to evaluate.

To familiarize yourself with the key terms used throughout the reports, click User-added image at the top.

You can select whether to view your reports based on RFP or room night data.

NOTE: In the Performance by Hotel report you can also select whether to view your data in grid (detail) or graph widgets.

At the top of all three reports you get a bird's-eye view of your entire portfolio's performance in terms of received RFPs or room nights, bid rate, average response time, and conversion rate. These figures are compared to the ones recorded this time last year so you can get a quick overview of the year over year (YoY) performance for each of the four metrics.

The widgets below break down the statistics by venue, brand, or region:
  • Received - Displays the number of RFPs or room nights received by each of your venues, brands, or regions in the last 365 days.
  • Bid Rate - Displays the year over year rate of submitted proposals for each of your venues, brands, or regions.
  • Average Response Time - Displays the average number of hours it took each venue, brand, or region to respond to an RFP.
  • Turn Down Rate with Alternate Dates - Displays what percentage of the RFPs rejected by a venue, brand, or region included alternate dates.
  • Awarded - Displays the number of RFPs or room nights contracted by each venue, brand, or region.
  • Conversion Rate - Displays what percentage of the bid RFPs were awarded to each venue, brand, or region.
  • Brand or Region Statistics - Displays a grid with all the brand or region performance metrics highlighted in green or red. A green highlight indicates that the brand or region in question registered a year over year (YoY) performance growth for that particular metric, whereas a red highlight indicates a drop in the YoY performance of a brand or region for a specific metric.

NOTE: The Performance by Hotel report also includes widgets for your venues' Average Daily Rate and Proposals Outside Due Date.

2 Change your report criteria. By default, the data in your reports is based on RFPs received in the last 365 days, for all arrival dates, peak room nights, and market segments. However, you can edit the report criteria by hovering over Data in the top right and clicking Change Report Data.

Click Run when you're done. Your reports will now show data based on the criteria you selected.

3 Filter your report data. Click Filter in the top right, then Edit Filters. Select which fields will be displayed in the Filters panel by toggling them on or off with a click. Moreover you can sort the filters by dragging them in the order you prefer.

NOTE: The Performance by Region report does not include the filter option, but you can still refine its data at the widget level.

Click Apply when you're done.

Back on the Filter pane, tweak the filters per your needs and click Apply to trim down your report data.

For example, if you only want to see data for brands that had a Year over Year bid rate smaller than 10, locate the RFP YoY Bid Rate filter and select Less Than from the dropdown. Enter 10 in the value field and click Apply.

Only want to filter data for a specific widget? Simply click the graph segment that you need and select how you want the segment data to be grouped. Once the filtered data graph is displayed, you can drill further down by clicking on a graph segment again and selecting a different grouping.

As you drill further down the widget data, a breadcrumb trail appears at the top of the widget so you can retrace your steps, or keep track of the filters you applied.

You can also customize your widget by hovering over the User-added image icon in the widget's top right and clicking Edit.

4 Save your customized market report. If you have made edits to the widget settings and report criteria, you can save them for future use by hovering over ...Actions in the top right and clicking Save As. Enter a name for your customized report and a description, if desired. You can also create a schedule to automatically run the report at regular intervals.

Click Save when you're done. You can find your customized report in the Saved Reports tab.

5 Export your report. To keep a record of your current report data hover over ...Actions and click Export. Select the format you want and click Export.
