You've rented or purchased an International Event in a Box and it showed up at your doorstep. Now what? Follow the steps below to learn how to connect your TP Link router. If your event is not in Europe or APAC, refer to the North American Guide instead.

Using Mobile Data


1 Check for your SIM card. Verify that the Three SIM card is in the slot on the back of the router.

  2 Set up your router. Insert the antennae into the back of the router.

3 Connect the router to power. Connect the power adapter with the router and plug it into a power outlet.

4 Connect the router to the printer. With the included Ethernet cable,
connect your printer to the router using the ports on the back.

5 Turn on the router. Press the Power On/Off button on the back of the router to turn it on. When you see the planet symbol on the top of the router, an active internet connection has been established. To ensure you have a strong signal, you should see at least four vertical bars.



Using a Hardline Connection

1 Remove the SIM Card, if necessary. Remove the SIM card from the back of the router, if necessary.

2 Connect the router to power. Connect an Ethernet cable to the router and an outlet at the venue.

3 Connect the iPad and router. Using the Network name and Password listed in the guide inside the box, connect the iPad to the router.

4 Access the router. Tap the Safari icon to open a browser window and type "http://tplinkmodem.net" into the address bar. Enter "admin" as the password.

5 Navigate to the Operation Mode page. Tap the Advanced tab, then Operation Mode.

6 Switch the router to Wireless Mode. In the Operation Mode section, select Wireless Router Mode. Tap Save.

7 Reboot the router. Turn the router off, then back on. 
When you see the planet symbol on the top of the router, an active internet connection has been established. To ensure you have a strong signal, you should see at least four vertical bars.



Using Your Own SIM Card
NOTE: Only 4G LTE SIM cards will work with the TP Link MR200 router.

1 Activate your SIM card. Activate your SIM card on your provider's site.

2 Connect the router to power. Connect the power adapter with the router and plug it into a power outlet.

3 Connect the iPad and router. Using the Network name and Password listed in the guide inside the box, connect the iPad to the router.

4 Access the router. Tap the Safari icon to open a browser window and type "http://tplinkmodem.net" into the address bar. Enter "admin" as the password.

5 Enter your dial-up settings. Tap the Advanced tab. Tap Network, then Internet and enter your dial-up settings. Most of this information can be found through a quick Google search (example: "dial-up Vodafone UK").

6 Register your SIM card, if necessary. If required, tap SMS to register your SIM card with a confirmation text. When you see the planet symbol on the top of the router, an active internet connection has been established. To ensure you have a strong signal, you should see at least four vertical bars.
