Once you've published your Event App, you'll want to make sure your attendees know how to access it. Follow these steps to send out the Mobile App Invitation email.

1 Access the Mobile App Invitation email. Begin by selecting your Flex event. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, click Event Emails.

In the Post-Registration Emails section, click Mobile App Invitation.

2 Adjust the basic settings. Click Edit. If necessary, edit the Name, Subject, and From Name fields.

Ensure "Active" is set to Yes.

3 Schedule the email. Want to "set and forget" the email? In the Send Settings section, switch "Send this email" to At the following date and time

Enter a date, time, and time zone. This should be the date that you want attendees to start logging in to your Event App.

Scheduling your emails at least an hour in advance is recommended. Also keep in mind that delivery can be impacted by how many messages you and other users are sending.

Send Settings

Click Save.

4 Edit the template. Click Design Email in the top right. Customize your email's content by dragging and dropping different widgets onto the canvas, customizing the text within the body of the email, and adjusting the email's overall design.

Verify that the {[E-MOBILE APP DOWNLOAD URL]} data tag is embedded into the "Open the App" button.

If it's not,
add the "Mobile App Download URL" data tag into the content of your email.

5 Establish your email settings. Follow these steps to customize your email settings. The "HTML and Plain Text" format is recommended to ensure that the recipient will receive the plain text version of the email if their mailbox cannot accept HTML.

Once you're done making changes, click Save.

6 Preview your email. In the top right, click Preview. View your email as an invitee would on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, and toggle between the HTML and Plain Text versions, if applicable. Click the X in the top right to return to the canvas and make any necessary changes.

Once you're done, click Save. Close out of the Email Designer.

7 Test your email. Follow these steps to send a test email.

NOTE: You can find out who received, opened, and never got your email by running this report.
