Before you can set up Universal Appointments, you will need to create an Appointment Event. The following steps will help you get started:

1 Access the Create Appointment Event page. Log in to Cvent and under Solutions at the top, select Appointments. Click Create Appointment Event.

2 Select a creation method. Under the Create section, select Create a New Appointment.

If this is not the first time you have created an appointment event, you can also copy from a preview appointment event by selecting Duplicate an existing Appointment Event.

3 Fill out the basic event information. Give the event a title (e.g. Trade Show Appointments). If you have the option to choose an Event Type, select Universal Appointments.

 
Basic Information

Complete the other event details like the event dates, time zone, and location. The time zone is especially important since it is tied to creating appointments and the time shown when appointment emails are sent to staff and attendees.

4 Add the name of the Event Planner. Fill out the event planner's, or trade show manager's, information. This is the name of the person the invitations come from when invites are sent from the Planner Calendar.

Click Save.
