With Attendee Hub, you have a variety of video options to choose from. Review this article to learn more about the different ways you can incorporate conferencing, recordings, or even live streams into your virtual sessions.

Virtual Session Types
Within the Attendee Website, each type of session handles video differently. Your options include:

  • Live Stream Session - A live video of a session that is happening in real-time.
  • Simulive Session - Replays a pre-recorded video at a scheduled time to provide attendees with the same experience as a live session. The video will start from the time the attendee joins as if the content is happening live, and attendees cannot fast forward.
  • Video on Demand Session - Includes pre-recorded video content that attendees can watch later at a time of their choosing. The video will start from the beginning, and attendees can fast forward.
  • Collaborative Session - A virtual breakout session with two-way communication during which attendees can participate by speaking and appearing on video. Up to 500 attendees can be in a collaborative session at one time.
  • Virtual Exhibitor Booth - Provides an interactive destination where exhibitors and sponsors can meet with and capture leads from attendees.
  • Virtual Appointment - Provides a virtual destination where attendees can meet with an exhibitor at a pre-scheduled time.
NOTE: Once you have a better idea of the virtual video types you'll need for your sessions, follow these instructions to configure them.

  • Has no limit on the number of attendees who can view a video at one time.
  • Allows every session to have up to 10 speakers, including a moderator.

  • Ensures your videos remain available on-demand for 90 days post-event.

NOTE: Reach out to your Cvent Account Team to discuss which video tools you'll need for your event.
