To ensure your attendees have all the information they need leading up to your event, consider including the following in your pre-event email:
 
  • Link to your attendee website - Add the link to your Attendee Website within the email. Or, add a button and enter "Access the Virtual Event" as the Link Text and the link to your Attendee Website as the Link URL.
  • Attendee website login instructions - Review the instructions for logging in to the Attendee Website to help you get started.
  • Link to your app - Add the link to your app within the email using the "{[E-MOBILE APP DOWNLOAD LINK]}" data tag. Or, add a button and enter "Open the App" as the Link Text and "{[E-MOBILE APP DOWNLOAD URL]}" as the Link URL.
  • App download and login instructions - Review the instructions for logging in from the Event App to help you get started.
  • Website and app overview - Provide a summary of how attendees can navigate the Attendee Website and Event App, as well as the event information they’ll find there. You can also include FAQs, a video walkthrough, and any other information you’d like to share with your attendees. If you’d rather keep your email short and to the point, consider adding this information to a dedicated overview page on your event website, then linking to the page within your email instead.
  • Day-of support resources - Whether you've purchased virtual support, or have set up your own virtual help desk or inbox to assist with attendee questions and troubleshooting, include the details and hours of operation within your message.
  • .ics file for the event - Give attendees a quick way to add the event to their work or personal calendar.
