Added page visibility settings. Now, you can limit which pages attendees see in the Attendee Website and Event App based on their registration type or admission item.

7/20

Introduced Live Q&A auto-approval. When setting up Live Q&A, you can now enable auto-approval if you want to make all Q&A submissions automatically visible to attendees without moderator approval. Auto-approved questions can still be declined by a moderator as needed.

Added Q&A written responses for the Event App. Live Q&A moderators can now answer attendee questions with a written response from the Event App, in addition to the Attendee Website, allowing attendees to read the answers at any time and remain engaged throughout the session.

7/19

Added support for inbound leads on the Event App. If you've enabled inbound leads, attendees can now send a direct message to exhibitors from their profile on the Event App, in addition to the Attendee Website. Attendees who send a message will be marked as a lead for the exhibitor.

Improved Event App attendee list performance. We've improved the attendee list functionality on the Event App to support events with large numbers of attendees. To allow for this increased performance, an attendee's device must now be connected to the internet to access the list.

Added schedule preview on the Attendee Website. Attendees will be able to preview up to three upcoming items on their personal schedule from any page on the Attendee Website by hovering their cursor over the calendar icon in the top-right.

x

Enhanced Add to Calendar functionality on the Attendee Website. Attendees can now choose to add a session to their personal calendar using browser email services like Google, Outlook, and Yahoo, or download a traditional calendar file from the Attendee Website.

7/13

Added attendee list filters. You can now allow attendees to filter the attendee list by adding choice questions to your import or registration process and designating specific questions as filters. This allows attendees to narrow down the attendee list based on those filters.

Introduced exhibitor one on one meetings. If you are not using virtual meetings for your exhibitors, you can now allow attendees to meet one on one with booth staff. Exhibitor booth staff can check in and out to let attendees know when they are available or unavailable to accept meeting requests.

Added support for web and video links on the Attendee Website. You can now display web links or video links within a card that displays on the Home page of your Attendee Website, in addition to the Event App.

7/6

Added custom pages to the Attendee Website. Custom pages will now appear on the Attendee Website in addition to the Event App.
x

Added session locations to the Attendee Website. If a session has an associated location, it will now display on the Attendee Website in addition to the Event App.

Added moderation for session chat. Session moderators can now delete any existing message within each session's chat on the attendee website.

6/28

Redesigned the Attendee Website navigation. We’ve added a new navigation bar to the Attendee Website that groups similar pages together and makes it easier for attendees to discover content. The main color for your Attendee Hub theme will appear as the navigation bar’s background color, and the navigation bar’s height will dynamically adjust based on the size of the logo you’ve uploaded.

x

Simplified switching sessions in a session group. Attendees attempting to enroll in a second session in a session group can now swap their enrollment by selecting the new session on the Attendee Website.

6/24

Introduced attendee recommendations for the Attendee Website. If you're using Appointments and the attendee list for your event, you can now enable Attendee Recommendations for the Attendee Website. This helps attendees grow their networks by recommending other attendees they should meet and displaying them as suggested matches at the top of the attendee list.

6/22

Added the ability to import and export video details for all virtual session types. You can now import and export the video details for all virtual session types in bulk, whether you're using Cvent video tools or an external platform.

Introduced Digital Badge for the Event App. You can now enable a digital badge for the Event App that gives attendees access to their own personalized QR code. Attendees can use the code to check in to your event onsite and print their physical badge hands-free via OnArrival.
Digital Badge
Added exhibitor filters to the Event App. Attendees can now filter the Exhibitors list in the Event App by sponsorship level, if an exhibitor has a virtual meeting, and any exhibitor custom fields you've made available as a filter for Attendee Hub. This now matches the existing exhibitor filter options on the Attendee Website.

6/3

Added the ability to turn appointments on and off for the Attendee Website. You can now control if appointments should be on or off in Attendee Hub. This allows you to launch your Appointments event and test it out before giving attendees the option to start creating appointments from the Attendee Website.

6/1

Introduced Q&A written responses for the Attendee Website. Live Q&A moderators can now answer attendee questions with a written response from the Attendee Website, allowing attendees to read the answers at any time and remain engaged throughout the session.

Added a survey notification to the Attendee Website. If you've configured a session feedback survey to become available for event or session registrants starting at a certain time, a notification will now display in the top-right corner of the session page when the survey opens, letting attendees know they can begin submitting their responses. The survey icon in the engagement panel will also display a red notification badge.

Added the ability to make attendee hub engagement reporting accessible to exhibitors. You can now allow exhibitors to access the Attendee Hub Engagement Details report within the Exhibitor Portal. Each exhibitor will only be able to view and export their own organization's engagement metrics, meaning you no longer need to spend time filtering the report and sending it to each exhibitor individually.

Introduced the cover image for the Attendee Website. You can now upload a new website cover image that will be displayed on the My Event page of the Attendee Website, directly below the navigation bar. The new cover image will ultimately replace the website banner image, though you'll see both images available to use in the meantime.

Website Cover Image

Added support for code snippets on the Attendee Website. To gather additional analytics within your event, you can now add code snippets to your Attendee Website and Login page.

5/10

Redesigned session pages on the Attendee Website. As part of a visual refresh for session pages on the Attendee Website, we've reorganized key information like session descriptions and speakers. For sponsored sessions, information about the sponsors is now included.

Session Redesign

5/4

Introduced the attendee list for the Attendee Website. You can now enable an attendee list for your Attendee Website. Attendees can sort the list, as well as search by name, company, and job title to see who else is attending the event and view their contact details.

Attendee List for What's New

Introduced session recommendations for the Attendee Website. You can now enable session recommendations for your Attendee Website, allowing attendees to filter the session list by sessions that are recommended to them. Recommendations are generated based on the sessions that attendees with similar job titles and companies have enrolled in.

Added the ability to upload pre-recorded session videos. When setting up pre-recorded sessions using Cvent Video Player, you can now upload the video file for your session directly within Cvent.

4/26

Added European data center support for the Event App. The Event App is now supported for accounts located in Cvent's European data center, meaning you can now publish the app for any existing or future Flex events in these accounts.

4/22

Made session documents available only to session registrants. Session documents are primarily used to supplement the content discussed in a session, and can sometimes be confidential. With this in mind, we've made session documents available only to the attendees who are eligible for and have registered for the applicable session.

4/20

Made it easier to access session surveys from the Attendee Website. If a feedback survey is active and available for a session, attendees who meet the availability criteria will now see a new Survey icon on that session's page within the Attendee Website. If you've added visibility logic to a survey, this will determine who can complete the survey, not who can see the Survey icon on the applicable session pages.

x

4/13

March 2021

3/30

Introduced polling for the Attendee Website. You can now create polls for the Attendee Website, allowing attendees to respond to questions and view the results in real-time during specific sessions. Assign moderators to manage which questions should be available and when.

x

Redesigned virtual booths on the Attendee Website. The redesigned virtual booth makes interactive features, such as the ability to meet with booth staff, request information from an exhibitor, or schedule an appointment, now accessible from a new expandable and collapsible engagement panel on the right side of the page.

Added SMS verification code support for more countries. Attendees logging in to the Attendee Website or Event App can now receive verification codes via SMS text message in 60 additional countries. Reference the compatibility guide for a full list of the supported countries.
