With live polling, attendees can respond to questions you create and view the results in real-time during a session. A moderator will have full control over when the questions open for responses and which ones should be displayed live. Follow these instructions to add live polls to your Attendee Website and assign moderators.

Creating Live Polls

1 Access the Attendee Website and App Builder. Begin by selecting your event. From the left-hand navigation, click Attendee Hub, then Website and App.
 
Click Manage website and app.

2 Create a poll. From the left-hand navigation, click Features. Next to Polls, click Setup.

Click Create poll.

Give your poll a name. Keep in mind that a poll allows you to organize one or more questions about the same topic together. You'll be able to add more than one poll to a single session, if necessary.

When you're finished, click Done.

3 Add your questions. Once you've created your poll, click Add question.

Select a question type, then enter the question text and answer options. Press Enter after each answer option to add more.

Next decide how the responses will appear on the Live Display.

When you're finished, click Done to complete your poll, or Add another question to add more questions to your poll.
NOTE: You can add up to 30 polls per session. A single poll has a limit of 300 questions. If your session has 2-5 polls, each can contain up to 60 questions. For sessions with 6-30 polls, you can include up to 30 questions in each.
 
4 Set your poll settings. In the Poll settings section, click Assign Sessions.

Filter the session list by searching for a session's name. Check the box next to each session your poll should be associated to, then click Done.

Click Update poll, then Update to save and publish your changes.

5 Assign moderators. At the top of the page, click the blue Polls link to return to the Polls main page.

In the Poll settings section, under Session moderator permissions, click Appoint session moderators
Or, to assign a moderator with access to all live polling sessions, click Appoint global moderators. Then designate moderators for the session or for the event as a whole

6 Train your moderators, if necessary. Once you've set up the feature, share these instructions for managing live polls on the Attendee Website with your moderators.


Updating Live Polls

1 Access the Attendee Website and App Builder. Begin by selecting your event. From the left-hand navigation, click Attendee Hub, then Website and App.
 
Click Manage website and app.

2 Select a poll. From the left-hand navigation, click Features. Next to Polls, click Manage.

Select the poll you want to update or remove.
 
3 Edit or delete the poll. To change the poll name or delete the poll entirely, click the Kebab Icon icon in the top-right.

If you've modified the poll name, make sure to click Update poll, then Update to save and publish your changes.

Or, edit or delete poll questions. In the Poll questions section, click and drag the Drag and Drop Dots icon next to a question to reorder it within the poll. Click the Three Dots icon next to a question to edit the question, or delete it from the poll entirely.
