The City Rates graph in the Supplier Network provides data on historical, current, and future average monthly rates for a specific city. It also allows you to compare these rates across multiple nearby cities, helping you make an informed decision on when and where to host your event. The average monthly rates are based exclusively on proposal data from the Supplier Network.

NOTE: City rates are currently only available for a limited number of US cities.

1 Look for the city you want. On the Supplier Network page, enter the city you want. Optionally, enter the event dates and size, then click Find venues.

2 Review the city rates. Depending on the location you entered, a City Rates graph will show up on the left side of the page. The graph displays guest room average monthly rates over a period of six months, depending on the selected event dates. If no event dates were selected, the graph will show city rates for the next six calendar months.

To view rate data for the next 12 months, click View more details. A table will pop up, displaying average monthly rates for the city you selected, as well as the rates of nearby cities.

This helps you check whether there is a better destination alternative without having to stray too far from the one you originally had in mind. It also helps you determine if a different season would be more convenient for your budget. If a city name is hyperlinked, you can click it to access its destination guide.

NOTE: The data in this table cannot be downloaded.

If there are months where no rates are displayed, it means there wasn't sufficient proposal data available in the Supplier Network to calculate a monthly average and ensure venue anonymity and data integrity. If your event dates are more than 12 months in the future, the City Rates graph will display historical rates only (based on 2018 and 2019 data).
