Encourage networking at your event by allowing attendees to send private messages to each other directly within the Attendee Website and Event App. Follow these instructions to enable or disable attendee messaging within your event.

1 Access the Attendee Website and App Builder. Begin by selecting your event. From the left-hand navigation, click Attendee Hub, then Website and App.

Click Manage website and app.

2 Check the status of the Attendee Messaging feature. Verify that Attendee Messaging is enabled or disabled for your event based on your preference. From the left-hand navigation, click Features. Next to Attendee Messaging, click the Kebab Icon icon, then select Turn feature on or Turn feature off.

   
Turn On Attendee Messaging

Click Save features.

3 Enable the attendee list for your Attendee Website, if desired. The attendee list will be displayed within your Event App by default. To encourage attendee networking, enable the attendee list for your Attendee Website along with Attendee Messaging, if you haven't already.

On the website, a 
"Send Message" button will appear next to attendees on the attendee list once enabled. In the app, attendees can tap the message icon that appears in the bottom right of a fellow attendee's profile to send them a message.
 
NOTE: Only visible attendees can receive messages, but hidden attendees can still initiate messages. No matter which Attendee Privacy setting you've selected, attendees can always adjust their profile to become visible or hidden.
