Want to quickly locate a frequently used report or categorize your reports based on criteria that are relevant to you or your business? Follow the steps below to learn how to do just that by creating and assigning tags.

1 Create a tag. Locate the report you want to add a tag to and click the User-added image icon next to it.

Type in a tag name, then click + Create.

Create as many tags as you want to for the specific report.

NOTE: Tags cannot be edited or deleted once they are saved.

Review your tags, then click Apply when you're done. The tags you create will be visible to all users who have access to reports across your entire account.

The assigned tags will appear next to the report name. By default, only the first tag name is visible, but you can reveal the others by clicking the number button as illustrated below.

NOTE: If you customize a report and save it, the tags associated with it will not be automatically assigned to the saved report or its snapshots.

Or assign an existing tag. Locate the report you want to add a tag to and click the User-added image icon next to it.

Select an existing tag from the drop-down. The drop-down will include all the report tags that were created by all the users across your entire account.

Add as many tags as you want to for the specific report, then click Apply when you're done.

2 Disassociate a tag from a report. If you assigned a tag by mistake or if the tag no longer applies to a report, click the User-added image icon next to the report, then click the User-added image icon next to the tag you want to remove.

Click Apply when you're done. The tag will be disassociated from the report but will remain available for selection in the tags drop-down list.

4 Filter by tags. If you have assigned tags to report templates, saved reports, or snapshots, use the Tags filter to narrow down the list of reports and easily locate the one you need. From the Tags drop-down, check the tags you want to filter by.

As you select tags in the filter, the page will automatically be adjusted to display only the reports that have at least one of the selected tags assigned to them.
